Environmental Commitment

At Poltex, sustainability starts at home. Our production facility in Portugal is partially powered by solar energy, thanks to our investment in rooftop solar panels. This reduces our carbon footprint and allows us to manufacture more responsibly. 

We also operate a hybrid and electric vehicle fleet for local logistics and supplier visits—cutting emissions while improving supply chain efficiency.

But we don’t stop at infrastructure. We’re constantly reviewing our processes—from fabric waste reduction to water-efficient dyeing—to align with the highest environmental standards in the textile industry. We believe real change comes from long-term thinking and daily action.

Raw Materials

We prioritize eco-conscious materials, including:
  • Organic and GOTS-certified cottons
  • Recycled polyester and nylon
  • Biodegradable trims and low-impact dyes
Our sourcing partners are carefully vetted for ethical labor practices, traceability, and environmental compliance.

Garments

We offer full support in designing garments that are made to last—technically, stylistically, and environmentally. This includes:
  • Reducing overproduction through lower MOQs and made-to-order models
  • Promoting modular or mono-material designs for easier recycling
  • Minimizing water and chemical usage in washing and dyeing

Packaging

Sustainable packaging is standard at Poltex:
  • Recycled and recyclable polybags or paper wrapping
  • Custom-branded options using FSC-certified or biodegradable materials
  • Plastic-free shipping options available on request
